AFTER ALMOST 2 WEEKS, I AM ON THE INTERNET AGAIN! MARK HAS BEEN VERY ORGANIZED, WHICH HAS HELPED ME! ZACH SAID IT BEST WHEEN HE SAID HE WAS GLAD AND SAD TO MOVE FROM INDY TO AUSTIN, TX. SAAD BECAUAE: 1. MISS FRIENDS 2. MISS HOUSE (EVEN THOUGH IT IS MY FAV. HOUSE SO FAR, IT IS FILLED WITH MEMORIES THAT ARE HARD FOR ME) 3. I AM NOW JUST ‘SOME GRL IN A WHEELCHAIR.’ (I FINALLY SAW MYSELF IN A FULL-LENGTH MIRROR, & IT WAS THE HARDEST THING I’VE DONE.) GLAD BECAUSE: 1. MORE ACCESIBLE CHURCH-RAMP TO PODIUM & COMPANION RESTROOM 2. ACCESIBLE HOUSE-ONLY BEING ABLE TO GO TO A FEW ROOMS GETS OLD 3. NEW FRIENDS (SOMETIMES IT IS EASIER TO BE KNOWN HOW I AM NOW-IN THE PRESENT-INSTEAD OF HOW I WAS) 4.WARMER 5. AQUA THERAPY MORE-MAYBE I WILL GET BETTER (I AM SICK OF FEELING STAGNANT) 6. CLOSE TO CHURCH, SCHOOL, STORES, COMMUUNITY POOL & PLAYGROUND, ETC. 7. CLOSE TO FAMILY 8. I HAVE BEN READY TO MOVE SINCE JANUARY-SO IT’S ABOUT TIME!

Welcome to Texas!! We can’t believe you’all are finally here. We’re so glad the move went well. We’re a “little” partial to San Antonio, but everyone we know who lives or has lived in Austin loves it, so we’re sure you will, too. Texas hospitality is great all over the state, so we know you will be warmly welcomed.
Once you get settled and start some sightseeing, you’ll have to come to San Antonio again. The River Walk has expanded even more since you’all were here long ago. Also, I work part-time in the largest scrapbook store in town and I would love to show you around. It’s easy to do some serious shopping in this store!
You did choose a HOT summer to come, but it will eventually cool off – we promise. 🙂

So glad you all made it to Texas and SOOOOO glad that you are back on the internet to keep in touch. Moving is sad and happy no matter when we do it – I guess we all love to cry over the memories and look forward with excitement to the new things to come — makes life interesting and fun! Anyway – I’m looking forward to sharing this new chapter of your lives with you as ya’ll become Texans. It’s quite a State and sure to become your new favorite place to live very soon. Glad your move went well, but we sure miss you guys!! Zach, Drew now has the Pokeman game you have and is going over all the instructions you left for him. We leave tomorrow for our trip out west. Hello Jenny. Our parents visited Wallcae and he gave us your video and we watched it. Our family was very excited about how well you are doing. So I brought the DVD to mutual. I showed it to the deacons and they loved it right away. after the movie, I asked their opinion and they were really touched. Right after we were done, they immediately want me to check up on your progress and I have. I just discovered your website and I will be telling them about it soon. My name is Dallin Hyde, I am a member of parkers deacons quorum. I am also a friend of his. In fact he is sitting right next to me.I really liked the video. It showed me that if something bad happens there is someone to look up to (you). You give hope to those who are immobile. I would like to say that as unlikely as an event like this is you show people that recovery is always possible. I also want to say that Mark really does rock!!

I don’t think I know anyone who can improve that fast after being devistated. It is very tremendous. All of the other Deacons thought the same. They also thought Mark was awesome because he helped you all the way, and taking care of the kids and stuff. I hope that all your improvements keep on coming.
