MOVED

WE HAVE MOVED, BUT HAD NO INTERNET/CABLE FOR 1 WEEK! MARK WAS KIND ENOUGH TO LET ME VISIT MY MOM DAILY-I’M SURE A HUGE SACRIFICE 4 HIM-BUT I AM SOOOOOO BEHIND ON EMAILS, JOURNALS, ETC…THEN BEGAN MY FAM. REUNION, SO I GOT MORE BEHIND. 1 EMAIL TOOK ME 4 DAYS! IT WAS A HUGE RELIEF 2 BE DONE! THE OTHER DAY WE HAD A BIG SCARE…I THINK I FAINTED. WHEN IT WAS OVER, I WAS SUPER DIZZY & EXHAUSTED. SO WHAT HAPPENED? I WAS ON THE TILT TABLE TOO LONG. MARK WAS HELPING ME SORT MY JEWELRY AS I STOOD, & SUDDENLY I HEARD RINGING & SAW FUNNY (BAD TO COME FROM ME, SINCE I ALREADY SEE BAD!)-IT CAME TOO FAST 4 ME 2 TELL POOR MARK. HE SAYS I SHOOK & MY EYES ROLLED BACK, BUT ALL I REMEMBER IS PITCH BLACK. NOT LIKE MY STROKE, WHERE I WAS ALWAYS CONCSIENCE, BUT SUPER SCARY. ALL I REMEMBER WAS AFTER IT HAPPENED, MARK WAS ROLLING ME BACK SO I COULD LAY DOWN & COME OFF, & I WAS LEANING FORWARD W/MY TUB 2 MY LT. & HAIR IN MY FACE. I HAD TO MUSTER EVERYTHING 2 SIGN.

DO I LIKE MY HOUSE? THAT’S A TOSS-UP, HONESTLY. MOVING REMINDED ME HOW HELPLESS I AM & AT THE MERCY OF OTHERS. I ALSO LOST A LOT OF INDEPENDENCE, SO I FEEL LIKE I’M IN JAIL. I CAN’T EVEN JUST GO ON MY COMP. OR ROAM BOTH LEVELS OF MY HOUSE, BECAUSE I NEED HELP 2 BACK OUT OF MY ELVATOR. I CAN’T EXPECT MARK TO COME IMMEDIATELY & OFTEN! THE HARDEST THING IS BEING SO CLOSE, YET SO FAR! IE. I HAVE AUTO. DOORS ON MY ELAVOTOR, CANPRESS BUTTONS TO GO, BUT CAN’T GO OUT. MY FINGERS R THERE, BUT I CAN’T TOUCH! HOWEVER, THE HOUSE IS BEAUTIFUL, & SOMETHING I FEEL PROUD OF. ALSO, MARK HAS CONSIDERED ALOT 4 ME. IE. MANY LIGHTS R DOWN LOW, WHICH FIA LOVES, & R EASY SWITCHES I CAN DO. THERE R 2 CAMERAS SO I CAN SEE THE KIDS PLAY & CHECK THE FRONT DOOR. THERE IS EVEN AN AUTO FRONT DOOR SO I CAN LET PEOPLE IN. 1 OF R 2 PORCHES IS BUG-FREE. GRANTED, THERE IS STILL WIND, & I DON’T SEE HOW 2 ACCESS THE REMOTES INEED, BUT IN TIME.

  1. We haven’t written for a long time, but we check almost daily to see what is new with you guys. We are relieved for you that you are finally in your new home. From here on out things should improve, including being able to get out of the elevator. It is only a matter of time before Mark figures that one out for you, or you get strong enough to do it yourself. We are so happy that you are doing as well as you are. That does sound like a scare when you fainted. We continue to pray for you and think of you. Enjoy your children this Christmas. This age is a special time for them – and for you. Merry Christmas from us!!! Love, Uncle Dee and Aunt Lois Ann

  2. Merry Christmas, Jenny! I’m sure in time your new house will be as comfortable as an old shoe. All of the glitches and “bugs” work themselves out sooner or later. We are all very happy for you!

Just to let you know, through a series of very odd events, Kiera is no longer going to Panama on her mission. She was very sad at first, but after hearing where she is being reassigned to, she is thrilled to death! She is now going to the Costa Rica San Jose Mission! She has to be at the MTC on Jan. 25, the day before she is 21. Now I feel like I have some breathing room. Previously she had to be there Jan. 4! Whew.:)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

    Love,
    Lynne

  4. Hi everyone, I am so glad to hear that you are in your new home now. How nice that must feel. It always seems like things are lost and not where they should be when you move. As you go on things will be where you want them and then you feel that you are home. I am glad that you all are doing so well. Have a great New Year and enjoy the weather. It is cold here. My Prayers are for you and your family. Love, Rita

  5. Dear Jenny,

I also have moved and have been busy. Went today to your url and was so pleased to hear you are doing so much better than the last time I visited your page. Your house looks gorgeous and I can’t believe all the extras you have. How wonderful.

A Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your family.

    Love, Aunt Stacy
